A Ulysses Contract is an agreement that a person signs to bind themselves to a specific course of action in the future. The person sets their own contractual obligations and punishments, and authorizes a third party (e.g. a lawyer, or friend) to enforce the punishment.
For instance, a man could sign a Ulysses contract that requires him to pay a large fine to the state if he does not lose 10 kilos within a year.
